Bring our witches home!

A British campaign mostly run by British upper class witches who, for some reason, said that Great Britain and “The Isles” are not whole until all their witches are reclaimed.

The campaign ran from Christmas 1939 until the bill, to fund military and diplomatic personnel in their search for any lost British witches, was passed in spring 1941. The campaign was successful because it combined the witches networks with playing on the emotions of members of the public whose relatives and loved ones were witches and had been promised a “free return” home to the British Isles.
